Literature Text

I felt left out
All those times
That you'd hang about
With my rhymes.

You stopped trying
Oh so long ago
Just left me prying
For some hope or show.

Friends, they leave,
Sometimes they stay.
You thought I was naive
You left me in the gray.

She won't care,
It doesn't matter
You left me bare
On a silver platter.

And so it ends.
I can't take no more
We can't be friends
My heart's too sore.
